Polianthes Tuberosa (“Tuberose) have sweetly-scented flower spikes with up to 30 waxy white 2½ long tubular flowers that open like a star. Especially fragrant at night, Tuberose is ideal for Moon Gardens. It likes a fertile, well-drained humus-rich soil in full sun. In colder climates can be grown in containers and brought outdoors during the summer. Flowers best when lifted annually even where hardy. Propagate by separating newly formed bulbils. Zones 8-11.
